Questions
Who owns the data?+
You do. Your records stay yours, and you can download everything as a spreadsheet at any time. We only use it to run the service.
Do my staff need to install anything?+
No. Layupbook runs in the phone's web browser and can be added to the home screen like an app. iPhone and Android both work.
What happens with no signal?+
Photos are saved on the phone and upload by themselves when signal comes back. Checks keep everything you typed if a save fails, so you can try again.
Can we bring our existing records across?+
Yes. Export from your current system (Zoho, Excel, Google Sheets…) and import the file. Columns are matched for you, and you see a preview before anything is saved.
Is it only for cars?+
Cars are where we started, but caravans, motorhomes, boats and motorbikes all work too.
